curiosity in science, music, and media

About

I use this website to share projects and little curiosities. It’s an eclectic website…

  • I love to share little-known science tricks: weird but simple stuff anyone can do without fancy resources. Think Bill Nye and Martin Gardner.
  • I post about various side-projects in science and music and math.  (I graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in each; now I’m a physics grad student at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.)
  • An archive of digital artwork back to 2000 recalls when Photoshop skills were rare, but I hope flipping through my old projects is still worth a laugh.
  • I sing, play piano, swing dance, and occasionally lift around ballerinas. In college, I performed with Off Broadway On Campus. My song-and-dance tendencies find their way onto this website in various places.
